Rogers and Hammerstein to packed audiences at the Orihuela Costa Resort. Standing ovations accompanied both performances. Phoenix Dancers: The dancers rehearse every Saturday afternoon at Marcia’s Dance Centre in Calpe and are always on the look-out for new singers and dancers. The group are busy at the moment rehearsing for their next charity show. Rojales Pantomime Group: Costumes for Humpty Dumpty are in progress as is scenery design and prop making. Rascals: Having finishing a successful spring/summer season, Rascals are having a well-earned rest. During the summer months coffee mornings will be held at Sacko´s Bar, El Limonar on Thursdays at 11am. Rehearsals

Stagestruck: The group donated 1,200€ to the Torrevieja branch of the Alzheimer’s Association, the money raised from their last production in May. They have also donated to Age Concern’s mini bus appeal. They are hoping to raise more funds from their Pantomime in November to again


support these worthy causes.


The Chaplaincy Players: The Players are having a rest whilst Andrew Rea writes the second part of the comedy trilogy; Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door. The first part was successfully produced at the Cardinal Belluga Theatre, San Fulgencio last March. Look out for the next (set in Torrevieja) in 2016. Details from Andrew on ahrea2@yahoo.co.uk.
