Reverie Targets the Adjustable Bed Customer with Newly Expanded Accessories Selection
By Brooke S. Pisarsky Reverie continues to expand its portfolio of bedding accessories with two new top-of-bed collections at the Summer Las Vegas Market. The company will introduce a line-up of unique 3-in-1 pillows and a suite of linens, all of which were designed specifically for use with adjust- able power bases.
New Pillows The Latex Curve, Cool Down and Dual Slum- ber 3-in-1 pillows reinforce Reverie’s commit- ment to customization and compatibility with adjustable power bases. Made from high quality latex, the ergonom-
ic Latex Curve pillow features a fitted stretch knit outer cover that facilitates the natural air- flow and breathability of the inner latex core, while providing maximum neck support. De- signed for use with adjustable power bases, the Latex Curve stays in place when a mat- tress is pitched in the sitting up position. The Cool Down pillow is a unique mix of materials. Combining a soft down filling with a structured foam-lined cover that holds shape when fluffed, the Cool Down also features a Rev-Cool cool-to-the touch outer cover. The Dual Slumber 3-in-1 is a double-sid- ed pillow with 5 pound memory foam on one side and a plush micro-fill down alternative
on the other. The silk-like microfiber pillow insert provides a high loft option, but can be removed to create a low loft option while also doubling as a travel pillow on its own. The pillow cover also has dual fabrics: Rev-Cool cool-to-the touch fabric partners with the memory foam side, and breathable Rev-Tek material covers the microfill. “Accessories continue to be a strong growth area in the industry with consumers demanding even more customization for in- dividualized needs and tastes,” said Reverie President and CEO Martin Rawls-Meehan. “We have always had a strong pipeline of in- novation to bring to retail and our dealers will have even more options with these new lines.”
New Linens Reverie’s Luxe Performance, Eco Collection and Organic Linens were designed specifically to address the need for adjustable base-com- patible linens while offering sizes that are spe- cifically popular with adjustable power bases, like the split king. “We are constantly listening to our retail partners’ suggestions on how to improve sleep,” explained Rawls-Meehan. “Inspired by overwhelming demand for top of bed prod- ucts made specifically to fit adjustable-friend- ly mattresses. These fitted sheets [are] made
with a strong elastic construction to keep [them] in place while the mattress and foun- dation elevate. We are excited to continue delivering innovative technology to help our power base retailers meet consumer needs for customization.” Reverie’s Luxe Performance linens feature zones of brushed fabric at the top and bottom of the fitted sheet, designed to hold pillows in place even when adjustable power bases are elevated. Created with Reverie’s engineered RevTek material, the Luxe Performance linens are feather-soft, breathable and washable, with inherent moisture wicking and tempera- ture-regulating properties to promote undis- turbed comfort. Resilient to the wear and tear typically experienced during laundering, these sheets maintain a smooth, lustrous look, elim- inating the need to iron them. Made from Tencel sateen, a sustainable fiber derived from the eucalyptus tree, Rev- erie’s Eco Collection is highly absorbent, breathable and naturally hypoallergenic. A unique elasticized construction ensures sheets stay securely in place as the mattress articulates with a moving foundation. Reverie’s Organic Linens are made with 100% GOTS certified cotton yarns. The 300TC organic sateen fabric has a soft hand and is hypoallergenic, also utilizing an elas- ticized construction to keep sheets securely in place. “As a leader in customizable sleep prod- ucts we know some of the challenges con- sumers have faced using some bed linens that were really
designed for stationary
beds,” Rawls-Meehan added. “Our retailers are very excited about these new offerings. Not only do they provide a solution to some common consumer issues, but they also add significantly to the attachment rates these retailers need to improve margin in this diffi- cult retail environment.” Visit
