Happening 6 1.
I had the pleasure of spending an evening at the Canadian Tire Centre with the Scotia Bank group to watch the Sens play great hockey. Left to right, Stephanie Kirin, Rob McGruer, Chris Janson, and Yours Truly.
2. As usual, I took advantage of the annual Merkley Supply Customer Appreciation Day. The food spread was fantastic, as usual. Pictured here is design guru Gordon Keith, Ken Merkely, and Darice Greene.
3.
I was up to Eganville recently and walked into a good old-fashioned jam session at the country store. I had to stick around for awhile to listen to these great musicians.
4. A special thanks to Annie Ross, Jessica Warren and Dan and Fiona Champagne for the great 60th birthday party. The seven-foot poster that Paul Scissons did for me is fantastic. Here I am joined by Dan Champagne and Art Stevens.

6. Well, it finally happened. After many years of attending the annual Ducks Unlimited dinner in Arnprior, I finally won a shotgun. Hats off to all the organizers who did another fantastic job organizing the event. I will be there next year.
7. The kick-off for the 15th annual Motorcycle Ride for Dad was held at Big Rig Brewery in Kanata.
Pictured here is Ottawa Sens’ Chris Phillips and Big Rig master brewer Lon Ladell talking about their commemorative brew, Big Rig Iron Arse Ale, made especially for the ride.
