Along with the well-stocked
liquor selection, you will also find anywhere from 15-22 (depending on location) beers on tap: imported, local, premium, and craft beers and a nice selection of wines, including a really good Sterling Merlot. The Barley Mow likes to
support the community through charity fundraisers, donations to schools and events, team sponsorships; and some of the pubs also have golf tournaments in support of various causes, as well as a main tournament in partnership with the Ottawa Police to raise funds for various charities. (They will be working on the 4th annual soon, so check in with your local to see if you can participate too.)
I have been to a few of The
Barley Mows and have enjoyed myself very much. From dropping in on St. Patrick’s Day with my daughter, to quick pints after work, or on a cold, wintery day in Almonte warming up in front of the fireplace, I have never been disappointed in the food, the company or the atmosphere. So don’t hesitate to check it out. They have just launched a
