Unlike most traditional Mid-Atlantic meeting locations, Lancaster is easily accessible via Amtrak and four regional and local airports, yet offers a wonderful blend of urban style and rural splendor. The area boasts more than 7,700 overnight rooms and approximately 250,000-square feet of combined modern meeting space in its primary meeting and conference facilities, complemented by a wide range of venues that can meet needs both large and small.

With a multitude of attractions and nightlife offerings, the surrounding Amish countryside, lots of free parking and economical room rates, Lancaster County serves as an optimal meetings destination.

what’sNEW

Excelsior is set to open in downtown Lancaster in September of 2015. This venue complex is comprised of several historic buildings (constructed from 1852 to 1873) that are being thoroughly restored, and will be able to host a variety of events in its unique spaces for groups of 50 to 500 attendees. The property had remained dormant for 40 years until its recent restoration and repurposing.

Offering an atmosphere of “sophisticated urban elegance,” Excelsior will be comprised of a Grande Salon, the Catacombs, Empire Room, Terrace, Chamber Room, Loggia and Garden Courtyard, each serving as one-of-a- kind settings for receptions, public and private parties, corporate meetings, fund raisers, galas, weddings and other social functions. Custom catering and event produc- tion services also will be available on site.
