what’sNEW

Opening in November 2015, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in downtown Reading will be a full-service property with 209 rooms, meeting space and a green roof. It is conveniently located across the street from the Santander Arena.

The Country Inn and Suites will be con- verted to the Holiday Inn Express Wyomissing this spring. The newly reno- vated hotel is a short walk to the VF Outlet Center and West Reading’s trendy Penn Avenue. The hotel's

upgrades include refreshed rooms and more meeting space.

The Abraham Lincoln Historic Hotel is now a member of the Historic Hotels of America. Renovations have been made to its meeting rooms, restaurant, lobby and bar. Guest rooms are undergoing upgrades, as well.

Unique venues abound in Reading, too. Groups can meet at the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, or perhaps at North America's only Pagoda, which is located high atop Mt. Penn.

Alternatively, attendees can enjoy world- class exhibits at the Reading Public Museum or at any of the 35 historic sites, museums and societies in the region that are available for hosting meetings and special events.
