great frequency, including approximately 15 different programs annually.

For JR Global Events’ clients that are focused primarily on revenue generation, the audiences they are trying to reach vary with different types of programs, so group size can range anywhere from20 people to more than 200 attendees.

“For our larger meetings, we see clients wanting to interact with their groups in both an inclusive, casual networking envi- ronment, as well as in smaller, more direct interactions,” said Stephanie Krzywanski, CMM, chief operating officer of JR Global Events, Inc. “A recent example of how we accomplished this was having a two-hour reception and marketing fair at the host hotel for an entire group of 200 people. This was then followed by dinner at six dif- ferent off-site venues where guests were assigned to restaurants based on their sales territory.”

Krzywanski said many of these types of programs tend to be two nights in length. Arrivals and a welcome event are on day one, and a full day ofmeetings and dinner are held on the second day. A third day might consist of morning meetings with takeaway lunches.

At JR Global Events, many of their clients are not interested in taking part in “tradi- tional,” themed events. Instead, their main goal is branding and howmanymessaging “touch points” can be incorporated with- out“overdoing it.”

These clients also seek a sleek, modern look for their events that includes a lot of technology and lighting elements.
