• Wednesday 4th February, Dunblane and District Gardening Club at 2.00pm in the Cathedral Halls. The speaker will be Jamie Single from Caledonian Tree Company talking on ‘Airpots’. Visitors are most welcome to come along to the meeting at a cost of £1.50
• Sunday February 8th, Forth Valley Friends of Scottish Opera: Dr Myra Soutar on Orfeo ed Euridice. A new production of Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice opens in Glasgow this month, directed and choreographed by Ashley Page, former artistic director of Scottish Ballet. We hear about it from Myra Soutar, academic and musician. All very welcome. 2.30 pm, Smith Art Gallery and Museum, Stirling. Members £5, Visitors £6, Students £1, including tea/coffee and biscuits.
• Monday 9th February Dunblane Civic Society meets at 7:30pm in the Braeport Centre. Leigh Sparks, Professor of Retail Studies, University of Stirling will talk on “The Future for High Streets in Small Towns”. A warm welcome to all. Visitors admission is £2.
• Monday 9th February, Dunblane Arthritis Care 2015 monthly meetings commence 1.30 - 3.30pm Victoria Hall when we will have musical entertainment from Allan Jazz Group. New members welcome. Branch information from Pat Anderson 822505
• Monday 16th February, Cathedral Guild 2.00pm Cathedral hall. Scotland v Poverty- This is a Tear Fund project which supports self-help groups in Ethiopia. They are enabled to start small businesses to help them become self-sufficient instead of depending on charity. The speaker will be Rev. Alan Reid from Kinross Parish Church, who visited Ethiopia last year.

Saturday 21st February, Cathedral Guild. 10.00am Table Top Sale. An interesting variety of items is always for sale at this annual event. Come along and find a bargain. Any individual or group who would like to book a table (cost £10) should contact Dorothy Millar (tel. 01786 824170).
