t from the newly starting C league player to the top end national players, nderstand that while Ultimate is one incredible sport there is a little g more to it than that…there is a community.

o to the various Ultimate events across the country you always find who knows someone just down the road. And that is what this trip is built mmunity of some pretty awesome people sharing the Spirit of the game A community that I feel like I can rely on to help me bike from one side a to the other. I would like to see another sport that could boast that, and : awesome.

ve been playing this sport for over 10 years and I have one or two decent moments to look back on. But my off field memories are what really keeps whether it be making some life long friends, dancing at a raging rookie ing a tooth to a former Canadian rock legend, or hitchhiking 600 Km for qualifying for nationals and the list could go on.

So I arrived at my final destination, as I did with most of my journey, without incident and on an even keel. I had been cheated of great views over my last few days of my trip due to low cloud cover. The first thing I did was relieved myself from the burden of tweeting daily and then took a glorious week away from both bicycle and computer. My first meal in Vancouver was the back up rice that had quietly kept me company throughout the 1000s of Kms of my journey. It wasn’t glorious but you have to respect the back up rice.
