“This is the logo from a team in Ottawa named the Screaming Yellow Zonkers, is one of the original Ottawa teams. I joined them in 1994 while the Ottawa Ultimate scene was very vibrant then and just undergoing significant growth, it was - for me - my first experience with a team that really embodied all those qualities of spirit and fun, community and competitive play. That experience really set the tone for me for Ultimate from there on in. Notable then, for me, was receiving their year-end Spirit of the Game award at our team awards ceremony.
