Party for the Paws was held at Ferg’s Sports Bar & Grill to benefit Pet Pal Animal Shelter in July. Entertainment was provided by the Screamin’ Donkey Band. Kids enjoyed decorating t-shirts at the tie-dye sta- tion, and plenty of adoptables were making their aquaintances with the guests.

Local restaurateur Steve Westphal joined emcee Cynthia Smoot on stage and auctioned off 17 dinners at his restaurants, Parkshore Grill and 400 Beach Seafood & Tap House, raising $28,500 in less than five minutes. Best of all, several adoptables found their forever homes during the event.
