If you’ve been waiting for a reason to visit Florida Estates Winery in Land O’Lakes, the Pasco Pet Fest will be the per- fect outing for you and your dogs. Between 11am and 3pm enjoy wine tasting, music, food, vendors and adoptable pets on the beautiful grounds of the winery. The event was created by Trina Messano and Jason Longo of Doggie Cakes to offer a pet-friendly festival in Pasco County. Proceeds for the 2013 event will be donated to Pit Bull Happenings, a 501(c) non-profit rescue group located


Gardens invites families to bring their leashed dogs to visit for the day. 50% of the regular admission price (Adults $12 – Children $3) is donated to the Humane Society of Polk County. The $5 dog admission includes a doggie gift bag.There will be judged contests (owner look-alike, most talented and best kisser) with prizes. Water bowls will be located through- out the Gardens. Dog Ownership Tampa During Florida’s Largest Home Show Saturday, October 19


The three-day home show is teaming up with The New Barker and Animal Based Charities to bring together res- cue groups and Bay Area Kennel Clubs for demonstrations, dog parades, meet the breeds and adoptions. The adoptions will be held over the three-day event. The AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day will be held on Saturday, October 19.
