Marriage Love &

Chelsea & Brad Poulas FotosbyFaren Chelsea and Brad Poulas met in the 3rd grade at Wallace Gregg Elementary. “I always

loved him as a friend, but I fell in love with him when we started dating in the 9th grade.” Aſter 10 years of dating, Brad proposed to Chelsea on April 17, 2012 during an aſter- noon of fishing. “We were sitting on the porch swing at the cabin, and Brad went to his truck. I thought he was changing the music on his iPod. He comes back with a photo album. He said, ‘I thought we could look at these together.’ It was full of almost 9 years’ worth of pictures from the 9th grade to the present. When I turned to the last page, there was a letter. It was so sweet! He talked about our whole relationship, how much we had been through together and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with his best friend. At this point, I’m already crying. Then at the end of the letter, he asked me to marry him. When I looked up, he had the box open with the ring in it! Of course, I fell apart and said yes like 1000x!” Soon aſter that special day the wedding planning began and over the next year all the pieces fell into place. She found her perfect dress during a trip to Savannah,

Georgia. “It was everything I had ever dreamed of all in one dress!” M&M Printing and Graphics provided Chelsea with her beautiful invitations, of which she had plenty to send! On March 23, 2013, Chelsea became Brad’s wife in front of about 300 guests. The

church was decorated beautifully. “I just felt so excited on our wedding day! My parents took me to breakfast that morning then all of the girls got ready together. It was a won- derful day leading up to the ceremony.” She is grateful for her hairstylist and makeup artist for making her truly feel like a beautiful bride. Her stunning wedding dress was her something new. Her something borrowed was her maid of honor’s (and soon to be sis- ter-in-law) cathedral veil accompanied by a handmade flower hairpiece. For something old, she was given her mother’s diamond and gold ring (a present from her father when her mother graduated nursing school). For something blue, one of Chelsea’s best friends gave her a monogrammed handkerchief with her initials in blue. The couple’s family and friends helped decorate the church, creating quite a gorgeous atmosphere.
