Plenty to see at Pro2Pac
Pro2Pac is the UK’s only processing and packaging exhibition dedicated entirely to the food and drink sector, and its return on 17-20 March 2013 will be its largest event yet. Offering a unique 360-degree perspective into key industry issues, Pro2Pac 2013 will showcase the latest in innovative packaging, sustainable materials, manufacturing equipment and packaging services from over 140 companies, enabling delegates to maximise efficiency within their supply chains and boost profitability. Bespoke glass
Glass manufacturer Beatson Clark will be showcasing its latest products, both bespoke containers and items from its general sale range, at stand S2360 at Pro2Pac. Among the new products Beatson Clark will be exhibiting is an innovative new bespoke 100ml spice jar, which can be used with two different caps. Its unique neck finish accommodates both grinder and flapper caps, meaning there is no need for the customer to purchase two sets of neck equipment for the same jar. Whether modifying an existing bottle or creating a totally new product, the company offers a flexible service through both the variety of design options available and tailored production. Depositing and filling
Riggs Autopack Ltd will be exhibiting a selection of their Model 1000
depositors, filling machines, transfer pumps and conveyor filling lines at Pro2Pac. Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity of viewing a twin head automatic depositor with scroll conveyor, a semi-automatic
“bulk” depositor for filling catering sized bags, a semi- automatic “micro-fill” depositor for small volume deposits, and a semi-automatic jar filling machine with transfer pump designed for small scale food producers.
