CONTRACTS & PROJECTS

A gathering of clans

Taylor Davis Ltd are delighted to formally announce the signing of their exclusive supply agreement to distribute the products of Jokey Plastik GmbH throughout the UK. This exciting event was ratified recently at an official contract signing ceremony at Jokey’s offices in Gummersbach, Germany, attended by the respective Managing Directors Mr Clive Atkinson & Herr Herbert Kemmerich; the sons of the two company’s founding fathers. Jokey are European leaders in the production of innovative injection moulded plastic packaging, and were the brainchild of Josef Kemmerich. In 1968 together with his four sons, Kemmerich set up his business in modest

circumstances on a farm set in the beautiful North Rhine Westfalia region of western Germany. By the end of 2013 Jokey will produce in 14 factories on 4 continents with more than 1.600 employees. Ten years after Kemmerich set up business, a similarly rural environment in Wiltshire saw the birth of Taylor

Davis. Stewarded by the Atkinson family the company made rapid gains, especially after they began selling Jokey’s products from the early 1980’s onwards. Fast forward to the modern era, and Taylor Davis’ reputation as the fastest growing

distributor of rigid packaging in the UK market has now been bolstered by their unique position of sole UK distributor for Jokey, whose comprehensive range of high quality tubs and buckets from 120cc up to 35 litre sizes, in round, rectangular, oval

and square specs puts the competition in the shade. This fruitful union has been one of sustained co-operation and growing success. For further information please telephone 01373 864324 or visit www.taylor-davis.co.uk
