She is responsi- ble for unique identification (UID) part markings for the Army, and provides program management oversight of the CH-47 UID effort. Allen ensures the execution of the project and serves as direct liaison to U.S. Army aviation command customers, af-
fected suppliers, as well as internal project and team, finance, planning, scheduling and leadership. She earned a contract extension on the UID effort for an extra year through July 2013 supporting the CH-47F program. Allen is recognized as the UID subject matter expert and, as such, her responsibili- ties have grown to include the MH-47G program.
Jovan Johnson-Griffin Senior Program Analyst U. S. Army Corps of Engineers
Jovan Johnson-Griffin serves as a senior program analyst and a team leader over other team mem- bers in the construction division, quality assurance branch. As one of the youngest employees of the construction division in the New Orleans District, Johnson-Griffin has made significant achievements and continues to demon-
strate leadership and excellence in her career.
In 2010, she was selected to be part of a highly competitive leadership development program based on her demonstrat- ed potential to make significant long-term contributions to the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
Through 2011, Johnson-Griffin served as program manager of the Black Employment Committee Program for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans district. She was re- sponsible for work within the structure of the Equal Employ- ment Opportunity Program and served as a liaison for the district to address the concerns and needs of Black employ- ees, pertaining to equal opportunities at the United States Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans district.
She coordinated programs and activities that assisted in professional and personal growth, improved communication, increased employee morale, and fostered change in negative attitudes that promoted inequality at the district. She contin- ues to be a part of the Black employment committee.

Rashea Jackson
Lead Systems Engineer and Requirements Lead U.S. Coast Guard
The U.S. Coast Guard motto is “semper paratus,” or “always ready.” Lead systems engineer and requirements lead Rashea Jackson exemplifies that resilience and fortitude. In her role in the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C4ISR) project, she established database tools that enabled documented specifications and their links to requirements that enabled USGS-wide collaboration.
Her confidence, demeanor, and competence has impressed those above her. Her direct superior wrote that, “Jackson’s efforts and achievements have made a lasting contribution that Coast Guard acquisition professionals will benefit from for years to come.” Jackson has a master’s degree in systems engineering and a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
Paulette Williams U.S. Navy Food Management Senior Instructor
Paulette Williams is a U.S. Navy food management senior instructor, Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center, who oversees the training and guidance of culinary team trainers for more than 1,000 sailors in the southeastern region. The 24-year Navy veteran manages all levels of food service include service techniques and automated food service records. The native of Ohio was also a recipient of the Military Outstanding Volunteer service medal. It is the highest single military award given for community and volunteer service. Williams has an arts degree in hospitality management.
Claire Babineaux-Fontenot Senior Vice President Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.
Claire Babineaux-Fonten- ot, senior vice president for Wal-Mart Stores Inc., has been named one of the “100 Most Powerful Executives in Corporate America” and one of the “10 Most Powerful Women in Business” by Black Enterprise. She began her career at Wal- Mart in August 2004, as vice president of audits and tax policy. In January 2007, she was promoted to chief tax officer (CTO).
As CTO, she is responsible for the company’s global tax func- tion with oversight in 27 countries. In February 2012, her du- ties were again increased to include financial responsibilities for the company’s Global Sourcing organization.
