Maj. Gen. (Select) Sandra Finan Commander, Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center

aj. Gen. (Select) Sandra Finan com- mands a center which comprises more than 3,500 Airmen at 11 locations in the United States and Europe and is responsible for the entire scope of nuclear weapons sustainment functions. Previous- ly, she was the principal assistant deputy administrator for Military Application,


Office of Defense Programs, National Nuclear Security Admin- istration, Department of Energy. General Finan entered the Air National Guard in 1982 as an enlisted cryptographic equipment repairperson. She received her Air Force commission in 1985 as a distinguished graduate of Officer Training School. Her com- mands include a space operations squadron and missile wing.


Maj. Gen. (Select) Dorothy A. Hogg Deputy Command Surgeon Air Force Materiel Command


aj. Gen. (Select) Dorothy Hogg was recently selected for assignment as the assistant Air Force surgeon general, Medical Force Development, and assistant Air Force surgeon general, Nursing Services. In her current position, the general assists in promoting the wellbeing of 122,000 Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) personnel with execution of policies for AFMC’s medical treatment facilities and the School of Aerospace Medicine. In addition, the general en- sures 6,400 personnel provide medical support at AFMC in- stallations for more than 358,000 beneficiaries. She oversees environmental and occupational health support for AFMC’s development, testing and evaluation missions, including medical aspects of AFMC’s nuclear and biological personal re- liability programs. She also oversees medical programs at the Air Force Research Laboratory’s 711th Human Performance Wing. She earned a bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Southern Maine and received her commission in 1983. She also holds a master’s in public administration from Troy State University and a master’s in nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina.

Maj. Gen. Wendy Masiello Deputy Assistant Secretary for Contracting, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition


aj. Gen. Wendy Masiello is responsible for all contract- ing relating to acquisition of weapon systems, logistics, operational, and contingency support for the Air Force. Gen- eral Masiello was commissioned in 1980 as a distinguished graduate of the ROTC program at Texas Tech University. She

has held a variety of systems acquisition roles including principal contracting officer for surveillance and reconnais- sance systems, weapon systems and test ranges. She has also served staff tours including deputy director of plans and programs, and director of contracting at two systems acquisition centers. She was assistant professor at the Air Force Insti- tute of Technology and executive director for the National Reconnaissance Office Inspector General.


Maj. Gen. Susan Mashiko Deputy Director, National Reconnaissance Office


aj. Gen. Susan Mashiko’s respon- sibilities include assisting the director and principal deputy director in managing the strategic and tactical operations of the National Reconnais- sance Office (NRO). Also, as the com- mander, Air Force Space Element, she manages all personnel and resources assigned to the NRO and serves as the senior adviser to the director on all military matters. General Mashiko entered the Air Force as a graduate of the Academy where she earned a bachelor’s in aeronautical engineering. Her career has spanned space and acquisition assignments, including executive officer to the Department of Defense Space Architect, and program executive officer for Environ- mental Satellites.

Lt. Gen. (Select) Lori Robinson Deputy Commander, U.S. Air Forces Central Command Deputy, Combined Force Air Component Commander, U.S. Central Command, Southwest Asia

t. Gen. Lori Robinson is responsible for the command and control of a 20-nation area of responsibility in Asia and air operations in support of the In- ternational Security Assistance Force. She entered the Air Force in 1981 through the ROTC program at the University of New Hampshire. She has served as an air battle manager, and commander of the Command and Control Operations Division at the Air Force Fighter Weapons School, as well as Chief of Tactics in the 965th Airborne Warning and Control Squadron. She has held staff assignments as deputy chief of staff and executive assistant to the director at the Defense Informa- tion Systems Agency.
