At Virginia Tech, she earned a bachelor of science degree in indus- trial and systems engineering. Her performance as product release engineer for starter motors in the Electrical Energy Management team earned the University of Detroit bachelor of electrical engineer- ing degree-holder distinction for timely and production-ready designs that met corporate and customer requirements.
Murillo joined Chrysler in 2003 after working as a co-op student at General Motors. Her portfolio also includes systemic/mod- ule and schematic content, quality and service, and prototype responsibilities. As a Corning Inc. samples manage- ment and testing leader, Nicole Blackman, has worked on disparate projects. They include develop- ing ways to evaluate the internal performance of ceramic mono- liths, managing supply chain and logistics management of new compositions and coatings, and collaborating on the delivery of eight technical reports.
Blackman has also worked on composition, coatings and testing validation development, as well as “transferred” three Corning products into full-scale manufacturing.
