Brig. Gen. Dana Born Dean of the Faculty, U.S. Air Force Academy

rig. Gen. Dana Born commands the 700-member Dean of the Faculty mis- sion element and oversees the design and instruction of 500 undergraduate courses for 4,000 cadets in 31 academic disci- plines. She also directs the operation of five support staff agencies and faculty re- sources involving $350 million. Gen. Born graduated with distinction from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1983 with a degree in behavioral sciences. She completed master’s degrees in experimental and research psychology, and was first assigned to the Occupational Measurement Center as a job analyst. She completed her doctor of philosophy degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Pennsylvania State University.

rior to her current assignment, Brig. Gen. Teresa Djuric was commander of the Jeanne M. Holm Center for Officer Accessions and Citizen Development at the Maxwell Air Force Base. She has operated space systems at three space wings and Head- quarters 14th Air Force. She has also commanded at the squadron, group and wing levels, and served on staffs at the Air Force Personnel Center, U.S. Strategic Com- mand and Headquarters U.S. Air Force. She was commissioned in 1983 through Officer Training School after graduating with a bachelor of science degree in computer science from the Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Va.

ecently promoted to the rank of briga- dier general, Dawn Dunlop’s position is commander of the 412th Test Wing at the Air Force Flight Test Center on Edwards Air Force Base in California. There she leads a wing of about 5,600 personnel in devel- opmental test and evaluation of various aircraft. The wing also assessed weapons system performance and made acquisition

rig. Gen. Gina Grosso entered the Air Force in 1986 as a Reserved Officer


Training Corps distinguished graduate from Carnegie-Mellon University. She was promoted to the rank of brigadier general on April 1, 2011. She is responsible for establishing force management policies for more than 675,000 Air Force military and civilian personnel. These policies guide the accession, assignment, evaluation, skills analysis and management, promotion, readiness, retraining, separation and retirement of the Air Force’s human capital. Her office also oversees aspects of total force management.

rig. Gen. Linda Medler is responsi- ble for the planning, programming, budgeting and execution process to acquire resources needed to satisfy mis- sion requirements. General Medler initially entered active duty as a U.S. Marine. After graduating from Boot Camp at Parris Island, S.C., she served as an adminis- trative specialist at Camp Elmore, Va., and then transitioned to civilian life and served in the Marine Corps Reserve. General Medler was commissioned in 1987 as a
