HOT TUB & SWIM SPA NEWS
Bayrol To Launch New Spa Water Treatment Range
‘SpaTime’ by BAYROL is the name of the new range from BAYROL, created specifically to cater for the particular demands of spa water treatment. The introduction of a new SpaTime care concept makes spa or hot tub water care particularly easy. A unique packaging design was specially developed for this brand to blend in perfectly within a domestic spa environment. BAYROL’s philosophy is to provide individuals with bespoke spa sets, making ‘SpaTime by BAYROL’ attractive for any spa and hot tub owner.
The new range was created to acknowledge the special requirements for water care present in a spa or hot tub. It contains all products necessary for a safe and simple spa water care. The full assortment covers everything from water balancing, disinfection and products for spa cleaning.
In addition to traditional treatment steps, the new SpaTime care concept introduces a completely new approach to water care: a weekly base disinfection with ‘Spa Pure’. Spa Pure is a specially formulated granular product which comes in pre-measured sachets and carries out a base disinfection of the spa water. It creates a disinfectant residual, regardless of how often the spa is used and therefore prevents a break in the disinfection cycle. On top of other properties, Spa Pure destroys chloramines, which are responsible for chlorine odour and stinging eyes. The product is dosed in addition to the disinfectant chosen by the spa owner, no matter whether it is chlorine, bromine or chlorine free active oxygen that is used. Part of the new SpaTime care concept is a practical service plan. This plan clearly shows which treatment steps are to be carried out and when. The SpaTime service plan can be detached from a brochure “spa water care made easy”, and can be placed next to the spa or the storage area of the care products for easy reference. The brochure also contains helpful information and tips for simple spa water care.
Improving View From Hot Tub Leads
To Record Fine A man in Dorset was given what is believed to be a record fine of £75,000 having been found guilty of hiring a tree surgeon to cut down a protected pine in his neighbour’s garden.
The 40ft maritime pine had stood for 55 years, was covered by a tree preservation order and stood on a hillside overlooking picturesque Poole Harbour, Dorset. Businessman Neil Davey paid to have the act carried out, leaving him and his with with “uninterrupted views of the Purbeck Hills and harbour from his hot tub”, the court heard.
It is believed that Davey – who was on honeymoon at the time of the incident, arranged for a tree surgeon friend to sneak onto his neighbour’s property in the dead of night and take a chainsaw to the towering tree.
BAYROL chose an agency specialising in packaging design to create an innovative style of packaging for the new range. This new design reflects the wellness and spa theme in form as well as in colour, blending in perfectly with a domestic spa environment. An appealing label design matched precisely to the packaging shows all relevant information for the spa owner at a glance. BAYROL is also breaking new ground with it spa treatment sets. Instead of providing pre- prepared sets, which only contain a small or the wrong selection of the required products, spa owners have the possibility to have their individual bespoke spa set put together for them. A special reusable bag has been designed for this to enhance the purchase experience. SpaTime by BAYROL will be available from March 2013 through new distributor Pollet Pool Group.
Artesian Rebrand A Result Of European Success
Artesian Spas UK have recently rebranded as just Artesian Spas throughout their European markets. They have been exporting to France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg and Sweden for 5 years now and are continually growing. “We provide a high quality product, and we always
look to achieve the best level of service,” said Vicky Wrigglesworth. “I believe this is part of the reason why we have managed to form great partnerships with so many high quality retailers in the UK and throughout Europe” she added. When Artesian Spas UK recently acquired the

Netherlands as a new market too, it seemed that it was more appropriate to unite the Artesian Spas brand across their markets, particularly as further European growth is expected.

In addition to improving the view, the removal of the tree also increased the value of Davey’s property by £50,000 however after being found guilty, Davey was ordered to pay £125,000 by the judge who told him his plot demonstrated a ‘remarkable arrogance’. Davey must also pay £14,500 in costs to the local council.
