Weschem And Prominent UK Partnership Launches New Compact Controllers
Prominent UK have partnered with Weschem to launch the new, cost effective Prominent DULCOMETER Compact Controller and DULCOTEST CLB2 and CLB3 chlorine sensors. The new compact DULCOTEST®
sensors CLB2
and CLB3 are used for the online measurement of the free chlorine in relatively pure water such as drinking and swimming pool water. They are extremely inexpensive and almost
maintenance-free. The open amperometric sensor is simply replaced after a service life of approximately 1-2 years without any need to simultaneously change the electrolyte. CLB2 is temperature- compensated using the integral temperature sensor and can be used where there are varying process temperatures. By contrast, the somewhat cheaper CLB3 (without temperature compensation) is used at constant temperatures. The sensors are operated in the bypass to the main line up to a maximum back pressure of 3 bar and are compatible with all standard valves for pH sensors. Operation of the sensors is only possible using the new DULCOMETER® Chlorine Compact Controller.

The Mature Sauna from Dröm UK

Made from 80-100 year old dead standing pines from Finland, this bespoke sauna is rustic and decadent; perfect for engendering exclusive luxury in a new or refurbished top-quality residence. Using the sawn edge and the wane, this sauna is rich in natural beauty; it also features a wall made of real Quartzite cladding, which is lit with traditional lampshades. The benches and backrests are made from luxury Aspen timber while the Helo Karhu wood burning stove, with glass window and external flue, completes the sumptuous sauna experience. Kicki Carlsson-Boyd, Dröm UK’s Managing Director, comments: “This sauna has proved to be a real draw in our new showroom already. The very aroma and feel of the wood is something completely different to a normal sauna – and that is what our customers want – the WOW factor.”

Ocea’s Insulated Safety Cover
Never one to rest on their laurels and not being satisfied with being one of the most elegant pool covers on the market, Ocea have focused on developing their slatted cover further to make it not only one of the safest but also one of the best insulated too. Over the last 12 months Ocea have set the bar higher and developed a completely new strengthened slat and end cap system. This has resulted in achieving a slat that is capable of withstanding ten times more stress before failing. The buoyancy of the slats have been improved through a more stringent manufacturing process. The air filled slats are now more buoyant and sit much higher in the water than foam filled slats. With the new sealing system for the slats they are able to guarantee that the cover remains safe. With this method of sealing the slat, the distinct advantage is there is no possibility of the slat absorbing water as can happen with slats that have unsealed ends. Water

absorption would cause a reduction to the buoyancy capacity and also reduce the insulation value of the cover so Ocea have pre-empted any of these problems with their covers. Alan Thorne of Ocea says:
