A message from Gemma… I hope Santa was good to everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
December was a busy month for us. Our Christmas, Choir, Cakes on 14th, taking part in the Observer’s Give a Gift appeal (thank you for all the donations!) and between 6th and 8th we had our sell out panto Dick Whittington.
New Year, are there any resolutions you want us to help you with? Keeping fi t? … getting out and meeting new people? … taking up a new hobby? Come along and see if we can help you get started and see more in our fi tness information in this edition.
We have some great programmes lined up for the 2013, including; fi tness classes, gymnastics, yogabellies, drama, youth clubs, guitar lessons, art classes, music makers and new shows:
Fame in 24 hours for teenagers -15th/16th February. There are still spaces for both principal parts and chorus. If you don’t fancy being on the stage, why not try your hand backstage. If you’d like to be involved in any way please get in touch. You can register at the Centre.
Into the Woods with an all adult cast – 30th/31st May and 1st June Preparations for both are well under way – so get in touch with us for more information and tickets.
Show in a Week: King and I. This year’s show in a week is The King and I! Registrations will open Friday 1st February 2013 at 9am.
After a very successful pilot of gymnastics, we will be kicking off the next block starting Monday 7th January. Our classes are a mix of gymnastics, yoga and acrobatics and after purchasing some new equipment will include the vault.
Our next step will be to introduce PRE-SCHOOL gymnastics classes. Get in touch for more information of start dates and details.
