urgently requires more properties to rent due to an exceptional level of new lets agreed in 2012. Martin Shutt commented
P
“Due to the slow sales market and the obvious lack of Mortgage availability in 2012, we have seen unprecedented levels of new tenants come to the market with rental properties going under reference very quickly. Although there is always a huge
demand for family properties such as 3 bedroom properties, we have tenants waiting for all types and styles of properties in all areas of Redcar & East Cleveland. With rents at their highest levels ever
and more and more prospective tenants looking for quality accommodation, we have seen a huge rise in buyers “buying to let” in 2012. We do not see this altering in 2013, in fact; we see this increasing dramatically again. In essence, it is still a great time to “buy to let”. Martin added “We are also adding warnings to this great news for our Landlords. Although the rental market is exceptionally buoyant, the quality of properties and the regulation is quite rightly rising too. In order to obtain quality tenants, it is only fair to expect the quality of the properties refl ects this. It is also fair to say that tenants
