Police Ward Surgeries Boosbeck Community Centre 24th November 11.30 – 12.30 Lingdale Village Hall 7th December 4.00 – 5.00pm Margrove Community Centre 25th November 10.30 – 11.30 Moorsholm Memorial Hall 4th December 11.30 – 12.30 In recent weeks we have had a number of

fires in the Lingdale area but as yet nobody has been arrested in connection to the incidents. The two main incidents were at the Allotments on Moorcock Row and the rear of the Tavern on Lingdale High Street. If anyone in the community has any information relating to this could they please contact the Police on Tel: 101 and help bring these people to justice? No one has been injured in relation to the fires, but we have concerns that

if they continue then this could change. The local Fire Brigade are working with the

Police on this and like ourselves want to prevent any further incidents. Another issue particularly in the Lingdale

area is teenagers playing in the local allotments causing damage and being a general nuisance. Local officers have stepped up patrols in these areas and a number of young adults have been spoken to, this has resulted in no further complaints, but we will continue to monitor the issue and take positive action with those responsible if they continue to cause a problem. If you have any information on the above or would just like to chat with your local ward officers them the above dates and times of our ward surgeries are an excellent way to make that happen. All are welcome and if you would like to talk in private on any issues or concerns you have then be assured that this can be arranged.
