Liverton Mines Liverton Mines Youth Clubs Project
It’s been just over a year since I was employed as Youth Leader at St Hildas and I have loved every minute of it. We have had parties, a trip to Whitby and different activities within the group. Numbers in the group have risen and now we have up to 30 children attending. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me with the groups, Rev Marian, Alan, Mr Gardner, Jean and Sarah. I am looking forward to the next year with anticipation as to what my little band of St Hilda’s kids will throw at me. Due to the success of the Youth Clubs Project we are appealing for volunteers to help out. Can you spare an hour or two on a day or week to suit you? Or do you know someone who can – it could be a student who is looking to gain experience of youth work or who wants to gain some community service or it could be an active ‘senior’ who has grown up family. Coe along one evening and see me or contact Marian. Anne – Youth Leader
