The Event Center at Harrah’s Philadelphia is an ideal setting for special occasions or meetings. Its 14,000-square foot event space is located on a separate floor from the casino, and comes equipped with private restrooms and a balcony that overlooks the racetrack and river.
Able to play host to trade shows, prod- uct rollouts, company celebrations and more - the Event Center is part of the all new Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Just 10 min- utes south of the Philadelphia Airport, Harrah’s is home to 100,000-square feet of gaming space with slot machines, table games, and the thrill of seasonal harness racing (with simulcast horserac- ing year round). Culinary temptations abound here, with new restaurants, bar and lounge areas, as well.
At Drexelbrook Corporate Events Center in Drexel Hill, planners will find complete and half-day meeting packages, a host of customizable services, meeting space, outstanding catering, plus a wide range of audio-visual equipment and services. Drexelbrook offers a number of flexible function rooms, a wine tasting room and a large hidden door in its South Ballroom that allows for quick access to the floor space for easy load- in and load-out during trade shows.
Brandywine River Museum is another excellent option when it comes to group events. The museum’s galleries remain open during events, showcasing its col- lection of world-renowned art, including artwork by generations of the famed Wyeth family. The venue’s galleries boast original beams and wide board floors, as well as glass-walled lobbies offering views of the river and surrounding coun- tryside.
The Brandywine River Museum can accommodate dinners for up to 80 in its restaurant, which overlooks the river. Its lobbies and courtyard can easily hold up to 600 people for receptions and stand- ing buffets. The on site caterer presents
