New association launches to boost Glasgow city centre retail success 10
Cut your spending Savings
Chamber Plus is now available to Glasgow Chamber of Commerce members to deliver significant cost savings on your indirect business costs through procurement and supply chain expertise. This valuable member service
includes expert support and a full analysis of your current spend on all indirect costs such as telecoms, utilities, stationery and fuel. It has successfully delivered savings of more than £2 million in the past year by using collective purchasing power to negotiate better prices for you and save you money. With currency markets and the
price of oil, coal and gas constantly changing, timing your procurement has never been more important. Chamber Plus is working with every major gas and electricity supplier to ensure members get the most
competitive contracts in the market. Chamber Plus will explore different lengths and types of contract and present our recommendations to you. This process is a free service that also reminds you of renewal dates to ensure that notices are served and any transfers are seamless. As part of the Chamber Plus
service, your business will be issued with a free Energy Health Check, which normally costs £50. This custom-designed tool compares your premises with a nationwide database of similar properties to show possible energy savings. This is the first step in reducing your energy costs and lowering your carbon footprint.
Robert Duffy, Operations
Manager, Drampac Ltd, said: “I have found Chamber Plus to be very helpful. We would recommend this service to any member looking to cut business costs with as little hassle as possible.”
