Glasgow’s Central, Metropolitan and Nautical colleges in 2010, the College is now the largest in Scotland and can offer training in just about any subject you can imagine. It is hoped that the new
training partnership will benefit both the College and Chamber members. It will allow the College to expand its customer base and build on its reputation for delivering high quality, professional training. Chamber members will have
access to courses in areas such as health and safety, procurement, marketing, finance, human resources, computing and food safety. Tese are all accredited by
prestigious bodies such as the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Cisco, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) and many more. For some of the courses the
College is one of only a handful of providers in Scotland, and indeed the UK. For example, the IOSH Directing Safely course, which is taking place in November, is rarely offered as a public course in Scotland. Te course is designed to

The City of Glasgow College offers training in just about any subject you can imagine
organisation and aims to provide directors/owners of small and medium-sized enterprises with an understanding of the moral, legal and business case for proactive health and safety management. As the only CIPS Centre for
Excellence in Scotland, the college offers procurement courses from Levels 2 to 6 covering a wide range of topics relating to purchasing and supply.
