FOUR SHIRES v MOTORING
NORTHAMPTON COMPANY LAYS DOWN THE LAWN WITH THE HELP OF A SMART
Motorists are set to be ‘mown’ away by an award- winning Northamptonshire landscaping firm, which is taking green motoring to the extreme. Wollaston- based Timotay LandscapeS, now a franchise for Easigrass artificial lawns, has covered a Smart with the synthetic turf to promote its new associate company Easigrass Northants.
Enhancing the head-turning appearance of the car, from Smart of Northampton, is a striking face created by seven-year-old Alfie Smallman, from Thrapston Primary School, as part of a children’s design competition. BOBBY, AS THE CAR IS KNOWN, will be used by members of the Easigrass Northants team to visit clients as far afield as Birmingham and Oxford.
“With today’s busy lifestyles, more and more people are recognising the advantages of replacing their lawns with Easigrass as there is no mud or mess and no requirement for time-consuming cutting, feeding or weeding,” explained Liam Wales, Sales Consultant for Timotay Landscapes, which has just been crowned Best Patio Transform. “The car is a fantastic way of generating brand awareness.”
Jodie Malsher, smart of Northampton’s Sales Executive, said that the smart’s affordability and versatility ensured it was a car that companies should definitely consider as a corporate vehicle.
