Are you a young lady who lives in Ontario between the age of 18-25 and interested in com- peting in The Ontario Quarter Horse Association’s Queen Con- test? Entry and rule packages are available online at

The Contest will take place at the Teen Ranch show in Cale- don, Ontario on Sunday June 17th, 2012.
There is a written test based on the 2012 official AQHA hand book as well as the history of OQHA as found on the OQHA website and newsletter. This written test is worth 40% of your mark. The second component is an oral interview judged by a panel of community volunteers which is also worth 40%. NEW IN 2012 – The Horsemanship pattern component. All contes- tants will be required to submit an electronic or DVD of them performing the ridden pattern contained in the entry package which can be found on the OQHA website. This portion will be weighted at 20%. This will be submitted with the appli- cation by the deadline. A $25 application fee is required with your application.
1st, 2012. The OQHA Queen will compete at the 2012 All American Quarter Horse Congress representing Ontario in Columbus, Ohio for the coveted crown. The Queen will also rep- resent our province at several shows and events in Ontario. We would like to thank our generous sponsors to

This show is one of the longest running AQHA shows in Ontario. Co-Hosted by Teen Ranch and OQHA, and approved by Area 3 and OQHA, so don’t miss out! This will also be the location for the 2012 OQHA Queen Contest.
