Extravaganza plans are going very well. We are still looking for sponsorships because the more we have, the larger the paybacks can be! Extravaganza is June 22- 24 at the Ancaster Fair Grounds. Friday night will be an open jackpot warm up show and will not count for points. The judge will be Jamie Kuhl and the classes offered will be Hunter Under Saddle, Pleasure, Horseman- ship, Poles, Barrels, Dash for Cash and a trail warm up. Saturday and Sunday will each be a point award show with all 21 mandatory classes plus some 13 & under, pony, over 40 and jr classes. The entry and stall package is available online now. Stalls and camping hook ups will be awarded on a first reserved first served basis. You can also purchase your membership through the Extravaganza entry form and mail it all in together.

The WHAO would like to welcome Todd Bailey and his family back to Ontario. He is happy to be working Ridgetown. We are proud to have Todd back as a WHAO Senior Judge.

will want to get your mem- bership before going to Extravaganza because all youth WHAO members do not have to pay an entry fee for youth classes at Extrava- ganza. Pleasant Ridge Sad- dlery will be sponsoring the youth classes on the Saturday and the paybacks will be in the form of Pleasant Ridge Gift Certificates. Sunday youth classes are sponsored by A Park Farrier Services and FayDon Farms. Thank you to these sponsors for allowing the entry fee for youth members to be no charge.

There will also be a team challenge. Teams will consist of three members, one of which has to be a youth member. Each time one of your team mates place in a class on Saturday and Sunday, they earn points for your team. Youth team members only earn points in youth classes. Entry fee for the team challenge is only $25 per team. Prizes will be awarded for the top three teams with the most points at the end of the weekend. It wouldn’t be Extrava- ganza without a party on Sat- urday night would it! Thanks to Fred Walter, we will be having a delicious beef bbq dinner featuring beef on a bun, potato salad, coleslaw and a drink. Tick- ets are only $10 each and can either be purchased with your entries or at the show. All of the information is on our website whao.org and it will be updated as more sponsors come in. We are also on Facebook at face- book.com/westernhorseasso- ciation and on twitter @whao_official. Check those for the most up to date information.

Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets for our draw at Can-Am to win a ticket to the Stacey Westfall clinic at Five Star Ranch and a Gail Haynes clinic. Huge thank you to Gail Haynes of 5 Star Ranch for donating those items for the fundrais- er.

at our shows!

I hope to see everyone Becky
