The Ontario Trail Riders Association Inc, established in 1970, is an equestrian organization which promotes recreational trail riding and the creation, development, preservation and safe use of trails.

The 2012 AGM took place on Sunday, April 22 at the Orangeville Fairgrounds. Although attendance was down from previous years we still had a great day. Once the Committee Reports had been given we were treated to an educational and entertaining presentation by Tack-Two Emergency Medical Ser- vices and Fire Suppression Inc. The usual pot-luck lunch was enjoyed by all and a video about helmet safety followed lunch. The nominations for directors were received and we welcome two new members to the board. Karen Plume and Linda Stillson have agreed to donate their time and effort to our association. We are also pleased to welcome back Janice Clegg, Wendy Downer, Jan Belanger, Shirley Bodnarchuk and Morris Radomsky. The direc- tors remaining for their second year are Kevin Kelly, Marjory Morden and Kari Kelly. The next meeting will take place on Thursday, May 17th, in Schomberg, ON. Elections for the execu- tive positions will take place then.

Thank you to all our vendors for bringing their goods and services to share. The vendors in attendance were All In Tack Saddle and Harness Repair, www.allintack.com, Kinder Horse- manship, www.kinderhorsemanship.com, Jan Belanger, Leather and Quilting and Marjory Morden, used tack and equipment. If you would like to get more information about Tack-Two you can contact them by email tacktwoems@aol.com, they will also have a website available soon.

very soon. Please note that due to a computer/printer miscommu- nication the pages in the book have been shifted one page to the left. Therefore, the chart listing the terrain, facilities and general information is on the BACK of the Ride Information rather than beside it as in other years. Sorry for any confusion this may cause.
