Expanded in the summer of 2008 to accommodate more than 100 guests, Nage Rehoboth Beach’s inti- mate surroundings offer patrons the opportunity to enjoy Nage dining in a coastal atmosphere. Since opening its doors in the summer of 2009, 16 Mile Brewing Company has continued to grow in popularity through- out Delaware and the Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States. Located in the Sussex County seat of Georgetown, about 15 miles west of the state’s Atlantic coastline, the locally owned brewery recently opened its newly con- structed tasting room and retail store to the public. The new facility also offers a unique venue for gatherings and meet- ings.
Further expansion plans for 16 Mile, one of three craft breweries in Southern Delaware, include a new tank room, dry storage area, a larger cooler area and a new loading dock. The unique name of the brewery derives its name from the fact that the seat of Sussex County is said to be “16 miles from anywhere” in Delaware’s southernmost county.
The grounds of Nassau Valley Vineyards offer a truly unique experience, nestled among the verdant fields of Southern Delaware. From weddings and birthdays to corporate functions and retreats, this one-of-a-kind property offers a truly unique meeting experience. The winery can accommodate as few as 20 to more than 400 guests in its three separate buildings, including a new banquet hall on the grounds of the historic vineyard.
The new Victorian meeting room in Boardwalk Plaza Hotel’s Plaza Cottage, located next door to the oceanfront hotel, is a perfect venue for small meet- ings and gatherings. Three oceanfront apartments are also available for smaller executive sessions, each ideally sized for gatherings of six to eight guests in an intimate setting. All meeting spaces at the hotel include catering by the in- house Victoria’s restaurant, one of Rehoboth Beach’s award winning eater- ies.
