Construction News: The Roland E. Powell Convention Center is currently in the process of adding a 14,000 square foot bayfront exhibit hall and is expanding its Grand Ballroom to 34,000 square feet. With these additions, the building is being made more eco- friendly, too. The center is exploring the possibility of adding a 1,250-seat theatri- cal auditorium, as well.

Atlantic City Convention Center Electrical provides power supply, outlets and plumbing connections to exhibit areas and booths, while Presentation Services Audio Visual (PSAV) offers clients the latest in audio-visual service and assistance with regard to the center’s technological capabilities.


A UPS Store is located on premise, show- casing a full line of office products and services, including document finishing, cellular phone rental, packaging and package shipping and receiving, and a range of office and sundry supplies.


Unique Features: Additional facilities are available at the convention center's sister property, Boardwalk Hall, which is home to seating for over 14,000 along with a wide variety of event and concert ticketing options for groups. Boardwalk Hall plays host to employee appreciation nights, group cel- ebrations, and client entertainment func- tions, and is able to provide group lead- ers with a number of promotional mate- rials (brochures, posters, etc.) to help them promote their special evening to attendees. Whether large or small, these groups can enjoy a customized event that includes meeting space, catering options and a host of other services.


Construction News: Atlantic City Convention Center is com- mitted to preserving its unique seaside environment while providing a safe, healthy atmosphere for guests. “Going Green” has consistently been one of the center’s main operating objectives.


Several initiatives have already been implemented throughout the facility, while others are in the works to better conserve and reuse valuable resources through recycling, retrofitting and seek- ing alternatives to energy.
