2012 Convention & Event Center Update
This annual update examines the offerings of several convention and event centers from around the region, features information about renovations and new construction, takes a closer look at ongoing initiatives, and showcases some of the most attractive features and services of these sites that keep convention organizers and meeting planners happy and wanting to return.

Delaware

Overview:

Amenities/Services: Sodexo Leisure features CIA (Culinary Institute of America)-certified chefs and a culinary team that uses the freshest ingredients while following strict food safety guidelines. Event planners assist in all phases of planning.
Dining options include several packages and customizable menus suited to a vari- ety of themes and/or dietary restrictions. Mobile concession or kiosk menus are available for shows and exhibitors, too.
Riverfront Audio Visual is the exclusive provider of all audio-visual presentation, multi-media support and equipment serv- ices for Chase Center, utilizing all new, state-of-the-art audio visual equipment.
Chase Center on the Riverfront
Services include planning and executing customized, broadcast-quality audio, video and lighting, password protected high speed wireless Internet connectivity, as well as providing electrical needs for trade shows, entertainment and other programs.
Other services include a Business Center, on site security control room with 24 hour security, ATM, vending machines and more. Chase Center partners with many service vendors, including florists, entertainers, bakeries, decorators, special- ty linens and decor equipment compa- nies for events.

Unique Features: The facility offers a 120-person football locker room, men's and women's basket- ball locker rooms, administrative offices, a state-of-the-art weight room and numer- ous athletic training rooms. Directly accessible to the locker room area are three classroom meeting areas and a 120- seat lecture hall, used for team meetings, classes, and press conferences.
