James Stewart gets some last minute instructions

On February 11, 2012 San Diego hosted the 6th round of the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross season. The event took place at Qualcomm Stadium to a huge crowd despite the day long threat of rain. But the rain held off and the fans that came were not disappointed! It turned out to have some of the best racing of the season as Australian Chad Reed battled the defending champion Ryan Villopoto in the main event. Right off of the start, rider Brett Metcalfe took the hole shot and an early lead but Villopoto and Reed soon passed him. Villopoto (riding the Monster Energy Kawasaki bike) held onto the lead until lap 18 (the main event is a 20 lap race) when Reed made the pass and took over 1st position. But it didn't last for long. The defending champion Villopoto managed to pass him on the very next lap to take the victory. That made it three wins for Ryan Villopoto so far this season. It's really looking like the man riding the green and black bike is the one to beat again in 2012. The question is can anyone do it?
