Coughtrie goes back to the future with retro lighting Coughtrie International has reintroduced several of its earliest products because many of the light fittings are now highly sought after for both restoration projects and by those who want truly classic light- ing design. John Hogg, Coughtrie general manager, said: “Whilst we aim to give architects and specifiers the widest range of ‘real retro’ lighting, the fittings are bang up to date in terms of being able to take
advantage of the latest energy saving light sources, including LEDs.” Since becoming part of the TH Group in 2009, the company has been able to take advan- tage of leading edge design technologies and high efficiency manufacturing tech- niques to produce a range of fittings which are lower cost, easier to install and offer a wider choice of design and functionality.
