This hostel is within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and sits within the Devil’s Punch Bowl, a large natural amphitheatre covered with heath, streams and woodland. It also makes a great base for exploring the villages, towns and attractions of Surrey and after a hard day sightseeing you can relax in front of the wood burner or enjoy a barbecue in the courtyard.
Only open to families and individuals two weeks at Easter and six weeks from 20th July. Sole use/groups at all other times.

YHA Holmbury St Mary was one of the first purpose- built hostels in Britain. Designed by the architect Howard Lobb and built at a cost of £2,500, it was opened in 1935.
We have 2 twin rooms, 1 double room and 10 4 bedded rooms. We offer a full range of catering from breakfast, packed lunch and evening meals.
We are open for families and individuals, walkers, cyclists and travellers and we also offer camping.

This hostel offers a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In the daytime explore the scenic Surrey Hills, let the kids run wild in the woods or take a day trip to Surrey or London attractions; in the evening relax in front of our open log fire or sit in the garden and enjoy the views across to Polesden Lacey National Trust estate as the sun sets.
No under fives unless dorm is hired. Five to fifteen year olds must be accompanied by adults of same sex. Camping also available.
