The award-winning Fire and Iron Gallery showcases metal artwork and jewellery by 150 leading British and international makers working in diverse ways with a variety of precious and non-precious metals.


Housed in the fascinating outbuildings of one of Surrey’s oldest properties (the Plantagenet house “Rowhurst”), Fire and Iron is a great place to see, buy and commission metalwork. Special exhibitions and demonstrations complement permanent displays. Owner Lucy Quinnell works on site with her blacksmith husband Adam Boydell to produce well-known public artworks as well as commissions for private clients.
