Surrey’s largest Independent Brewery.

Situated just north of the A31 Hogs Back Road between Guildford and Farnham, a visit to the Hogs Back Brewery is a fascinating experience. The converted 18th century barns in which the brewery is housed provide a rustic backdrop to the business of brewing ale.

An interesting feature is the Brewery Shop and Off Licence which sells a wide range of beers and other merchandise in addition to our own products.

Situated between London Road and Parkway, Stoke Park is Guildford’s largest and best-known park. It is an extremely diverse and well-used green space, popular with residents and visitors alike. It is also a Green Flag award winning park.

The park and its woodland have remained more or less intact since they were laid out in the C18th. In those days there was a manor house complete with walled garden and icehouse. Heritage features that still exist today include the walled garden, Ha Ha and C16th farm buildings, one of which, Burchatts Farm Barn, is now used as a function venue and is available for hire.

The park caters for people of all ages and abilities. It has sports pitches, woodland areas, formal gardens, with a model boating pond and restored water cascade, summer paddling pool and crazy golf, children’s play area, tennis courts and a very popular skate park.

The main section of the park is open rolling grassland, which, due to its vast size, is ideal for major regional events (the music festival, Guilfest, and the Surrey County Agricultural Show).
