Halfords Tour Series
On Tuesday June 12, Woking will once again play host to the fast and furious Halfords Tour Series - professional high-speed cycle races around short, exciting town and city centre circuits across the UK. Cyclists become king of the road for the day, with local groups and businesses trying their luck on the track before Woking hosts the professionals in the penultimate race of the men’s series and the women’s final. The town regularly attracts in excess of 10,000 spectators along the town’s streets to cheer on the UK’s top male and female cyclists, so don’t miss it!

Party in the Park
From lunchtime on Saturday 7 July, Woking’s first multi-cultural Party in the Park will take place in Woking Park. The family-friendly event will be an inspiring and fully inclusive event for all age and community groups, and be inspired by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Party in the Park will kick off Woking Borough’s London 2012 final countdown celebrations, in the lead up to the men’s and women’s Olympic Cycle Road Races, which are set to whizz through the Borough on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 July.
