Beautiful Beginnings: 2011-2012

Some 845 students, along with Chadwick faculty and staff, got the 2011-2012 school year underway at the annual All-School Opening Day Assembly. A highlight of this year’s festivities was the exchange of traditional Korean giſts from five exchange students who will be attending Chadwick School from Chadwick International this year.

Student Body President Sam Cartwright ’12 encouraged students old and new to make the most of the many opportunities for involvement available at Chadwick School. A favorite tradition of each year’s All-School Opening
Day Assembly is the introduction of the Chadwick WOWs (seniors who began at Chadwick in kindergarten, and are now entering their 13th year at Chadwick School). Each of the 27 WOWs from the Class of 2012 shared a kindergarten memory to the delight of the incoming kindergartners, the Class of 2024. Tey then offered stuffed dolphin toys to the kindergarten students, who in return presented the seniors
with Class of 2012 baseball caps. Best of luck to all of our students in 2011-12!
