Chadwick International Family Fun Day From David Moore, CI Parent, CIPA Parliamentarian, and CPA Liaison
Family Fun Day was the first big event organized by the Chadwick International Parent Association (CIPA). Te day started bright and warm, just perfect for an outside event. Te whole field was covered in games and activities, and the kids had to complete at least five events to claim a prize. It was so nice to wander from place to place, bumping into friends, teachers, staff, and parents for a chat. It was also a comfort knowing that my 4- and 5-year-old boys could roam around freely with only an occasional eye open for supervision. In addition to the games, a book fair was also
set up during the event, and it proved to be quite a success. English language books for children are not widely available locally, so it made a great fundraiser. Te highlight of the aſternoon was a concert
performed by each grade. We were so lucky to have the use of a mobile stage and sound system from one of our parents, who works for a local TV company. It was so entertaining to see the little ones and the big ones throwing themselves into their performances. Te whole day was an absolute credit to the

parents who organized it, and it was well beyond expectation given that it was our first event!
Chadwick International Golf Event
Te Chadwick International Parents’ Association (CIPA) held its inaugural charity golf tournament on Saturday, June 4 at the prestigious Lakeside Country Club in YongIn City, Gyeonggi, Korea. Te club is noted for its 54 challenging holes and seven large lakes. Te day started with lunch at the Lakeside
Clubhouse and an official welcome by the CIPA Board. Twelve foursomes then teed off on the East Course at 1:30 p.m. for an invigorating aſternoon of friendly competition on the greens. Following tournament play, the golfers retired
to the Clubhouse restaurant for a festive banquet dinner featuring an awards ceremony and opportunity drawing. Te evening also afforded an opportunity for CI parents and faculty to become better acquainted and to build the sense of community so important to the Chadwick educational experience. All involved rated the inaugural event a
great success. Chadwick International gratefully acknowledges the efforts of the CIPA Board and the many parent volunteers who generously gave of their time and talents to create this new CI tradition.
