Myra Fox ’54 Myra Fox died peacefully on Tursday, September 1, 2011. She retired in 2008 as director of child life and volunteer services at Children’s Hospital in Boston. During her 44-year tenure at Children’s Hospital, Fox devoted herself to the care and welfare of thousands of children and families. Moreover, she was a widely recognized pioneer in the world of children’s health care, significantly improving the lives of children. Fox was the daughter of the late Matilda Aaronson Fox, who had been a social worker, and the late Saul L. Fox, M.D., who practiced medicine in Los Angeles, where Myra resided until she moved to Massachusetts. She leaves behind her brother, John Fox, and his wife, Gretchen, of Amherst, Massachusetts; niece Margaret Fox and husband Andy Carroll of Newton; nephew Joseph Fox of Amherst; great niece Jessica Carroll; and numerous friends and colleagues.


Michele Mary (Leahy) Norlin (1949-2011) Aſter a brave and valiant fight against ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease), Michele Norlin lost her battle on May 11, 2011, surrounded by a room full of family and friends. Michele worked at Chadwick School


for nearly 15 years in both the Village School and the Office of Admission and Financial Aid. She was predeceased by her parents, and sister, Denise. She is survived by her daughters, Jessica Vroman (Jason) and Jacqueline Sugarman (Matthew); her companion, John Nash; and adoring grandchildren, Cole and Nicolette.
