45 YEARSAND COUNTING On the weekend of July 8, 24 members of the Class of 1966 celebrated their 45th class reunion in the South Bay area. On Friday evening, class members met for dinner at the Redondo Beach Chart House and later boarded a bus for the Chadwick campus to hear the “Class of 1966, All-Star Blues Band.” The concert was organized by Tom Jennings (guitar/vocals) and Jeff Zinsmeyer (harmonica/vocals), who had recently released a CD of some of their musical collaborations. Other members of the Class of 1966 performing with the band included Tim Swain (guitar), John Van Riper (bass guitar), and Dave Barton (saxophone). For nearly two hours, the sound of blues reverberated throughout the surrounding hills, just like old times. Members of the Class of 1964 and 1965 also attended the reunion concert, as did several members of the current Chadwick faculty, who seemed to enjoy the nostalgic trip down memory lane. The band has performed at each of our reunions since 1986, but this concert was stellar. The festivities continued on Saturday

with a picnic on the Chadwick Main Lawn, sponsored by the Chadwick Alumni Office.
