The main objective of swimming pool landscaping is simple. It’s to make the area around your pool beautiful. In tougher financial times more pool owners, private and corporate, have been investing in using some of the sensational tiling, coping and surface finishes to renovate their pool areas. Others see a new pool as a thing of potential great beauty and urge architects and pool builders to ensure the finished total look is worthy of the whole project. Landscaping really matters in other words. The variety and scope of pool finishes offers an endless range of options. After that, safety issues
bring into play slippery-proof surfaces surrounding the pool and other safety structures such as pool fences. Pool buildings and proper changing rooms are growing in popularity and there’s a greater trend than ever before when it comes to landscaping to invest at the luxury end of the market.

Privacy in a swimming pool is increasing a challenge for builders and architects who often turn to planting trees around the pool. be very easy to maintain but the appearance can be very plain. There’s a balance needed.
TRANSFORMING A TIRED SURROUND Flexflooring recently completed a domestic project transforming a tired pool surround consisting of patio slabs into a new stylish yet safe RubbaFLEX surface.
The original patio slabs had been in situ for a number of years and as well as looking unsightly, were dangerously uneven. In addition, the copings were also stained and unsightly. The installation of the RubbaFLEX safer surface allowed the owners the opportunity to create an entirely different feel for their pool surround by introducing coloured rubber. The clients decided on a popular Flexflooring mix known as Arctic, which comprises equal parts white, light grey and bright blue and has the overall effect of cool, calm water, tying in perfectly with the swimming pool and contrasting well with the surrounding flora and shrubbery.
