SPN DEC 2011 HotTubs

“Even though a hot tub warranty is such a critically important aspect of a hot tub purchase, hot tub warranties are often over- looked in the purchasing decision making process. This can be a big mistake”

Spa Crest puts special emphasis on the quality of its tub jets from cluster jets, to directionals, foot specific jets, with each jet designed to deliver the utmost in therapeutic massage.

Optional extras on the Spa Crest Europe range include: perimeter LED lighting and neck jets or pillow on lounge seat. There is no by-pass filtration. On all Spa Crest’s Series II Models, 100% of the water drawn in by the circulation pump is filtered, ozonated and heated before returning to the spa. This system keeps a spa crystal clear and ready for use any time.

Today’s rigid vinyl hot tub cover was developed, with the objective of promoting energy savings, heat conservation and safety. This single- minded vision has led the spa industry to a higher standard of energy efficiency. Almost every hot tub sold is now shipped with a cover. Even though a hot tub warranty is such a critically important aspect of a hot tub purchase, hot tub warranties are often over-looked in the purchasing decision making process. This can be a big mistake. A hot tub is a major investment so buyers want to make certain that their investment is well protected. Most hot tub warranties will cover the shell, cabinetry, plumbing, equipment and controls. At Passion Spas, in addition to any warranties, all their dealers have access to the ‘Passion Parts Depot Europe’, where components for all of their spa models are kept in stock. If necessary, they can be sent to a dealer within 24 hours. This ensures that should a problem arise, it can be quickly resolved.

Catalina Spas claimed a first when they added an automatic dosing system on to their range of hot tubs. Catalina’s Stephen Crabb says the new system will be made available on a number of models and will be able to be retro fitted on to existing hot tubs.

The development is one of a number of extras and tweaks to the Catalina range based on feedback from customers which responds to the demands to improve the owners’ experience.

“We are in a position to add subtle changes to the products to fit the feedback we get from customers. For example our 18ft swim spa was the only one to have a fountain but we’ve now been able to add that facility to the 14ft and 16ft models.”

All Catalina spa and Swim spa models are now available with the new Catalina Clear automatic sanitising system. It’s simple to use and inexpensive to run and eliminates the dry skin; pungent chemical smell and unsightliness of old tablet feeder systems. No more hassle, just sparkling clean water. Traditional methods of sanitising like bromine tablets that have binders or stabilised chlorine that contain cyanuric acid and all by- products that build up in the water. With the Catalina Clear system only 98% pure sodium bromide, a natural salt is used, which does not cause build up in the spa water. The dissolved sodium bromide circulates through the spa and the Catalina Clear system electronically converts sodium bromide into bromine. spn
