unlikely to produce high day to day running costs.
Manufacturers are now
supremely confident their products don’t break down.
This remains the background to the development of longer and more comprehensive warranties where a seven year warranty against surface defects, a five year parts warranty against electrical or plumbing defects and a 25 year full structural warranty is now somewhere nearer to the norm. The more certain manufacturers and distributors are about quality the more relaxed they will obviously be about warranties.
The hot tub trade association BISHTA is potentially looking at making available an extended warranty product exclusively to members as a way of differentiating them from non-member competitors and offering a further competitive edge. In its place is a more efficient, more reliable, well insulated, energy efficient unit which represents a sound investment and which will last for years and years when it is serviced and maintained as it should be. Kevin Sanger from Elite Spas says; “It is amazing how people are well versed in what’s on the market but also what the options are for a more user friendly and energy saving product.”

company now offers five year parts warranty against electrical or plumbing defects and a 25 year full structural warranty on all products. Isobel Rickards Sanger of Elite adds; “We now have energy efficient electronics, eco friendly manufacturing processing, frog feeder systems to reduce the daily chemical maintenance, high quality, reliable ozonators, and jets which use a lot less water for therapy (we have just had some designed especially for Sunbelt to maximise water therapy).
Jacuzzi® says that responding to customers has always been ‘the driving force behind our success’. “We constantly upgrade our hot tub models every year, making them better, more comfortable, better value for money and especially more innovative,” says the company.
“It’s certainly essential for us that we make life easy for a purchaser – taking away the concerns and providing the best possible product to make owning a Jacuzzi® effortless. It is certainly true that
