Graphic Design withAdobe Illustrator This course introduces vector graphic design concepts and techniques using Adobe Illustrator, and is aimed at anyone wishing to acquire a thorough understanding of the most important features of this powerful programme. You will learn how to create graphics using the tools in Adobe Illustrator. Units include: obtaining, inserting and combining information for designs and using tools and techniques to edit, manipulate, format and present drawings or plans.
Entry requirements: Basic word processing and a familiarity with the web as a user.
Possible next steps: Digital Imaging with Photoshop and Page Layout Design with InDesign.

Print Design
with Photoshop This course introduces digital imaging concepts and techniques using Adobe Photoshop CS4 and is aimed at anyone wishing to acquire a thorough understanding of the most important features of this powerful programme. The course is based around real-world practical examples for both print and screen based production. By the end of this course, you will be able to use Photoshop with confidence and produce high quality and great looking images. The online modules combine an interactive instructor led course assessment with exercise files, real world samples, and discussion forums.
Entry requirements: Basic word processing and a familiarity with the web as a user.
Possible next steps: Desktop publishing with InDesign and Bespoke Software design with Illustrator. Learners will be able to take 2 more qualifications to achieve a full level 3 Award certification.
