BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma


in Business This intensive two-year course is the equivalent of three A Levels. It’s suitable for people who want to get a thorough grounding in the area of Business. The qualification can also be used to progress to Degree courses.


Entry requirements: A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above or appropriate equivalent qualification.

BTEC Level 4 HNC/HND


in Business On this Higher Education course, you will cover a wide range of business related subjects. This course will equip you with essential skills and a qualification that may lead either directly to employment, or will provide you with a sound basis for study at a higher level.


Entry requirements: 3 A Levels or a Business Studies qualification at Level 3, or appropriate equivalent qualification, or significant experience working in a Business environment.


IELTS requirements: 5.5 (minimum 5.0 in writing)


Possible next steps: Degree or employment in a supervisory or managerial role.


Length of course (weeks): 36 for HNC and a further 36 for HND. Hours per week: 16
